New for 2026: The UHNW Institute Book Club
The UHNW Institute’s Book Club offers members a facilitated yet informal space to explore thought-provoking books and exchange perspectives with peers across disciplines.
The book club will explore timely ideas with a network of fellow professionals. Designed for those who value thoughtful dialogue, reflection, discussion, and cross-domain learning.
The first discussion will focus on The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters by Priya Parker. Sign up to attend the session that best fits with your availability (it will be repeated).

The discussion will be co-led by Tara Kehoe, the Institute’s Librarian, alongside a rotating co-facilitator drawn from the Institute’s leadership.
Book Club FAQs
Books:
Members are responsible for obtaining a copy of the book (the Institute will not provide copies).
Title selection:
Books are selected by UHNW Institute leadership, with member suggestions welcomed. All selections align with the Institute’s Editorial Guidelines and Content Criteria.
Works must be “think-tank worthy,” reflect the Institute’s inclusive values, and invite debate through rich ideas and multiple interpretations.
Purpose:
The group supports the UHNW Institute’s mission by advancing professional education, strengthening communication across domains, and creating a respectful space to explore new ideas and emerging thinking in service of UHNW families.
Who should join:
UHNW Institute members interested in thoughtful dialogue and cross-disciplinary exchange. Members are welcome to join anytime.
Discussion norms:
We assume positive intent, focus on ideas rather than individuals, respect one speaker at a time, and encourage shared airtime.
