Advancing Family Wealth Advising Across Borders: Highlights from The UHNW Institute’s Inaugural European Conference

November 6, 2026

The UHNW Institute’s latest report is now available, featuring discussions from its inaugural European Conference, held September 24, 2026, at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School.

Family wealth advisors, family enterprise specialists, academics and financial service leaders examined how the profession can better serve families across generations and markets. Sessions addressed integrated advising, the responsibilities of ownership, family dynamics and succession, private equity performance and consolidation across global wealth management.

The report connects these discussions to decisions advisors and firm leaders face in their work: preparing families for shared decision-making, assessing investment performance and preserving advisory relationships through changes in firm ownership.

The conference also marked an important step in the Institute’s international expansion, with an emphasis on regional leadership and respect for differences in culture and advisory practices.
