Barbara Hauser, an Institute Advisory Board Member, serves as Editor in Chief of the International Family Offices Journal. Her new book, from the Swiss publisher Helbirg Lichtenhahn, is titled Applying the Benefits of the Rule of Law in Family Governance. In it, she makes the case that family decision-making ought to be modeled after the rule of law, with due consideration given to transparency, accountability, and family member participation.
