Charles Eckhart

Dr. Charles Eckhart is the Founder and Managing Partner of Cathexis Group, a family engagement and governance consulting firm based in Santa Barbara, California. Charles consults with families and couples of significant wealth to catalyze family transitions and establish and evolve practices for effective family governance and collaborative decision making. Charles also consults with financial institutions to build, train, and support wealth advisors in family dynamics and governance. Prior to the founding of Cathexis Group, Charles had a career as a Clinical Psychologist, including numerous academic teaching and training roles in doctoral clinical training programs. He contributes publications, presentations, and thought leadership in the intersection between family wealth, legacy, governance, and relationships.
