New Faculty Appointments at the UHNW Institute

The UHNW Institute is pleased to announce four new faculty appointments.

  • Edward Marshall has been named Chair of the Risk Management Domain
  • Allison Lawshe joins as a Faculty Member in the Philanthropy Domain
  • Paulina Mejia and Jonathan Forster join as Faculty Members in the Trust and Estates and Legal Issues Domain

We are pleased to have these experienced professionals serve on the faculty and contribute to the Institute’s work. Their backgrounds across risk management, philanthropy, fiduciary planning and private wealth law add further depth to the expertise represented across the Institute’s domains.

Edward is Founder and CEO of Presage Global, an intelligence-powered risk and business advisory firm serving family offices, investors, C-suites and boards. A family office researcher, advisor and author, he works with families across cyber, physical, financial, operational and reputational risk. Edward currently serves on the Institute’s Advisory Board and co-heads its Family Office Initiative. Prior to founding Presage Global, he held family office roles at Dentons, Credit Suisse, Citibank and Boston Private.

Allison is a Vice President in the Wealth Planning Advisory Services group at Northern Trust and Associate Director of Philanthropic Advisory Services. Her work includes philanthropic program design and management, rising generation engagement and preparation and building collaborative partnerships with nonprofits. Previously, Allison served as Senior Manager of the Learning Center at Family Office Exchange, where she developed learning programs and consulting projects for families, family offices and their advisors. She holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation.

Paulina is National Fiduciary Counsel at Fiduciary Trust International, where she works with families to connect legacy goals with trust and estate wealth transfer strategies, with an emphasis on next-generation education and philanthropy. She also leads the firm’s Women & Wealth Program and national attorney outreach strategy. Before joining FTI, Paulina led Atlantic Trust’s wealth strategies group, served as a wealth planner with Brown Brothers Harriman & Company and practiced law in the trusts and estates department of Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP.
