Introducing “The Top Shelf”: A New Way to Access the UHNW Institute Resource Library
For over two years, UHNW Institute members have asked for a simpler way to stay on top of the latest thinking—requesting that resources come to them rather than having to search the Resource Library themselves.
We’re excited to announce that the “Top Shelf” project is underway!
What Is the Top Shelf?
A new member benefit that delivers curated resources straight to your inbox, based on the topics you care most about. Rather than searching the Resource Library, you will receive periodic emails with fresh, relevant content.
How Does It Work?
You’ll be able to subscribe to specific Collections, each focused on a key area of interest. As new content is added to those Collections, we’ll send you a concise email update so you can explore what’s new without having to search for it.
Available Collections:
Each Collection includes new and highly recommended resources in the following areas:
- Financial and Investment Management – encompassing the activities of managing the financial, real estate, collectible, equity, investments and other assets that form the financial wealth of the family.
- Estate Planning and Legal Issues – encompassing activities related to estate planning, trust and estate administration, family law and family legal disputes, and legal and tax planning, wealth transfer and financial management within and across jurisdictions.
- Philanthropy and Social Impact – encompassing the financial and nonfinancial charitable, philanthropic, social impact, and community activities of the family, including foundations.
- Risk Management – encompassing family risk education and management practices related to board or trustee roles, reputational, family/residential/cyber security, emergency preparedness, assets and collectable risks as well as insurance strategy.
- Family Capital Cluster – encompassing the Governance & Decision-making, Leadership & Transition Planning, Learning, Development & The Rising Generation, Family Dynamics, and Health & Well-being domains.
