We are pleased to announce that UHNW Institute Faculty member Joseph Reilly has utilized his extensive experience in the family office industry to launch two new podcasts: Private Capital and The Inheritance Podcast.
Listeners to the Private Capital podcast will enjoy conversations on the investment side of family offices with investment and business thought leaders, founders and experts. In the premiere episode, Reilly interviews Sebastian Mallaby, author of The Power Law – Venture Capital and the Making of a New Future, to unpack how venture investing models have changed and influenced investing globally. Listeners to The Inheritance Podcast will learn about the non-financial side of family offices through lessons from the top thinkers on family wealth, philanthropy, inheritance and issues of wealth in society. In the first episode for this podcast, experts in the psychology of wealth, Chair of the Institute’s Programming Committee Dennis Jaffe, PhD, and Chair of the Institute’s Content & Curriculum Committee Jim Grubman, PhD, join Reilly to discuss how people have looked at wealthy families historically, how individuals can cope with an inheritance and ways entrepreneurs can adjust to their new affluent lives after success.
