We proudly announce that Austin V. Shapard, Senior Advisor to Fiduciary Trust Company, has joined our Board of Directors.
Austin served as Fiduciary Trust’s President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman for 12 years, from 2014 to 2026. During his tenure, the company expanded significantly while maintaining its values-based culture and focus on clients’ best interests. Before joining Fiduciary, Austin held several senior leadership positions at Rockefeller & Co., including President and Chief Operating Officer and Vice Chairman. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate Principal in McKinsey & Co.’s financial institutions group.
Austin’s experience leading wealth management firms and his commitment to serving clients’ best interests will be a great asset to our Board of Directors. We look forward to working with him to advance the Institute’s mission and support professionals serving ultra-high-net-worth families.
