The UHNW Institute’s 2026 Summer Reading List Is Now Available

June 22, 2026

Each summer, The UHNW Institute shares a curated reading list shaped by recommendations from our members. This collection reflects the breadth of interests and expertise within our community, drawing from multiple disciplines to provide resources that prompt thought and offer genuine insight.

Every title, article and podcast on this year’s list has been chosen because a member found it worth discussing, encountered something new in it or simply felt moved by it.

Here’s a handful from this year’s collection:

Private Finance, Public Power by Peter Conti-Brown and Sean H. Vanatta is a new history examining how the United States manages financial risk across the public-private divide, offering an unconventional perspective on policy and institutional design

Longevity Nation by Michael Clinton provides an exploration of how people are redefining aging through science, reinvention and purpose, moving well beyond traditional models of retirement

The Good Ancestor by Roman Krznaric is a meditation on legacy, stewardship and intergenerational purpose, with practical approaches to embracing a longer view

Also new this season: We’ve identified books that read especially well in a group setting. Look for the gold Book Club badge as you browse.

Beyond these selections, the list features articles and podcasts that connect ideas across disciplines, novels worth your time and professional works on strategy, governance and resilience.
